Well my posts are scarce recently. We are getting settled in the house, cards to be mailed soon! We have been busy with home improvement projects, getting the pups used to a dog door and enjoying the winter. Although we have quite a bit left to do in the house, we are hoping to have a housewarming party in April sometime.
I have been working on scrapbooking projects, and am going to start some stationary projects as well as a few other hobbies. I am going to keep myself busy over here-in my new craft room that I am currently setting up! I can't wait for it to be complete! Jake and I have also started running, after I completed the 1/2 marathon I told him about the wonderful experience and we participated in a 5K yesterday! We are thinking of doing a 10K when we go to Florida and will definitely be doing Pat's run this year! I am excited, runs are SOOO much fun, you wouldn't believe until you experience it. The running community is so supportive of everyone, I have never been in such a wonderful situation! There really are NO losers in the running community.

On another note-
We just found out one of our close friends has been diagnosed with cancer. We do not know the details yet, she has to wait until Friday to find out how extensive it is, please keep her in your thoughts. She is only 29 and has a lot of life left, this isn't going to stop her by any means and all the well wishes will help her get through this difficult time. Life isn't fair, Jake and I can't stop thinking about how this can happen to someone so wonderful, someone that has touched us and made us better people. If you met her, you would wonder how it could happen to her also. One of our goals is to try to run each and every cancer run we can and raise the money needed to find a cure! All with her in mind...
