This 17th week has brought on a few odd things....
#1. I had my first craving on Tuesday for Pizza Hut Breadsticks. It is Friday and I still haven't had them! BUT I still WANT them! I will have them this weekend, I promise!
#2. Thursday my pants wouldn't button. Yep it's official, my tummy is finally growing! It still just looks like I ate too many cupcakes and there isn't a baby in there, but I know you are there!
We went to the All Star Baseball Game Events this week. Your daddy just LOVES baseball! It was a few long days for mommy though, 3 days later I am still exhausted!
I also learned this week that if I drink too much caffeine my joints become achy, so we are going to limit the caffeine, even though mommy loves Mt Dew! Don't worry, I haven't had too much and it doesn't bother you, but I now know my limits!
The doctor called today and said that your anatomy scan results are back and everything checked out normal! I am so glad you are mine! You have treated me pretty kindly and I foresee the remainder of your pregnancy going just as smooth as the beginning has been. I can't wait until I can feel you move around and kick in there!
Since we are Team Green and we don't know your gender, we will go to the hospital with a boy and girl outfit so you can be dressed appropriately for the car ride home. Today, at 18 weeks, I bought a baby girl outfit, IF you are a little girl then you will come home in this outfit. If I knew you were a girl then I think I would have a full closet of clothes for you! I am going to buy a little boy one as soon as I find one I love, but we have a few months to shop!
