This past week I had a doctors appointment and took the long awaited 1 hour gestational diabetes test...and I passed with flying colors! Bring on the sugar!
The day after my doctors appointment I woke up with a terrible sore throat! I have ended up resting all week and feel better now, but my throat was on fire!
In the midst of all that, I have almost finished the baby shower invites...I have a little left to do, but they should be mailed out this week! There is nothing more relaxing when I am sick than to sit home and just work on paper products. And to realize how loved you will be little one! I am sure we will have to have a party after you arrive so everyone can meet you! Update: All invites have been mailed and we are preparing the house for your big party!
Daddy and I need to go to Ikea to finish up your room and get a few other things. Mommy also needs to get the office set up so she can work from home after you arrive. And mommy has to work on some scrapbooks before you arrive too, but that will be a good task for when I don't want to move anymore!
And it is amazing to me how giving people are! You are already receiving gifts galore from many people that we did not expect! We are very grateful for everyone's generosity and cannot wait for you to arrive so we can share you with everyone. There is no doubt in my mind that you are very special and will be spoiled like no other!
On another note...mommy is very anxious to meet you! You definitely have your own perogative and I can't wait to get to know you and your little personality! So far I think you are very stubborn and are just going to do things on your time and be a cuddler! You seem to get very cozy in my belly and refuse to move even when mommy nudges you trying to get you out of that uncomfortable spot. I am hoping this means you are a good sound sleeper! You do jump when mommy's alarm goes off, but the barking dogs do not phase you (hopefully that continues after you arrive!). You do not wake up until around 9:30am, so I am hoping that is a sign for the future also! Little one, we can't wait to find out your gender, name you, cuddle you, love you, play with you and meet you!
