A little scare and a little fun!

Well little one, you have now given mommy and daddy the 1st scare. We are going to skip the 33 week update since mommy is getting bored of them and we will just do an update of last week. On Monday we had our fun growth scan! We got to see your little face, it was super cute but you look like a grump! The cutest grump I have ever seen! You are weighing in at 4lbs 2oz and your heartbeat was a strong 145bpm (we are now at 5 boy/2 girl on the bpm gender charts). However mommy didn't know she was having contractions and the doctor seemed quite concerned when she found out mommy was contracting through the ultrasound. She did an internal exam and said you are going to arrive before your due date! She said you are healthy now but we want you to grow a little bit more. Mommy now knows what a contraction feels like too, so hopefully we won't have any untimely arrivals due to confusion. Mommy is trying to rest as much as possible to make sure that you grow and become big and strong before you arrive! And now that the doctor told us you would arrive early, mommy is sure you will be stubborn and not meet us until after your due date!

You have also been receiving gifts in the mail and that is fun! However it is a bit creepy when you pick up a box to bring it in the house and it talks to you! But it is fun to receive little toys in the mail, our house is soon going to be full of little people things!

Mommy's belly sure went through a growth spurt and your movements are crazier than ever! You sure become a wiggle worm when you want to! And you get the silliest hiccups, they are not at consistent times each day, just random. Mommy has been waking up between 4 and 5am just starving this week, which means you are growing! And it may mean that is going to be a future feeding time for you, we will have to wait and see!

A few more weeks and you will be here, we will get to meet you and find out your gender! I can't wait to hold you and love you little one! It has been a wonderful 8 months and in a few weeks we will be ready to meet you, until then, just bake away and enjoy your time in there!
