Game On!

I just looked and we are 49 days out from the 1/2 marathon!

I have been ultimately lazy this weekend.
Thursday=Holiday=No Workout
Black Friday=Standing at Cabela's for hours while hubby makes purchase then we had friends over our house to socialize & relax after crazy mad shopping
Saturday=lazy morning, afternoon errands and relaxing evening with hubby, movies and wine
Sunday=laying in my pj's all day....I mean, running with Amy. Yes, she made me get off the couch even though it was cold outside, forgot my running sensor, forgot my camera and am feeling a bit of a sore throat coming on. She made me, I mean encouraged me to run and run and run even further than last weekend. We finished about 6 miles (no sensor but we did the first 5mi in 52 min then ran 10min more) in about 1hr2min. And then it started sprinkling on us-it felt good!!! And I am very very happy with the results today!
During our run we were talking about pacing ourselves for the 1/2 and what should we pace at, as much as I dream to finish under 2hrs, I don't think it'll happen, but with today's run, I am feeling good that we can finish in 2:10. I am hoping with tempo's and long runs in the next month I can be confident with 2:10.
On my way home I was lucky enough to spot a rainbow. I tried to take photos with the wonderful iphone camera. But got this photo once I was home with the real camera.
The hunt is on for a Christmas Tree...the hubby wants a tree this year, when we moved to AZ we gave ours to a youth home because he didn't want to move it. We haven't had one for 3 years. I wish he would've told me a few weeks back when I was garage sailing and one 1/2million dollar house had a gorgeous one for $25 that I passed up. I can't find any in stores for a reasonable price that I like, he may be waiting until the 26th for a half price Tree!
The hunt is on for Outdoor furniture, outdoor holiday decorations, a hot tub, a TV and many other items too, I have my eyes peeled this holiday season for good deals!
