It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Recap since Tuesday:
Wednesday I completed P90X Back and Biceps, Ab Ripper X
Thursday it was RAINY in Phoenix...blah! So I went to the gym and ran the furthest I have ever run on a treadmill, 6.25 miles, it wasn't too bad...
Thursday night we had a friend come in town from MI, so Friday we enjoyed lunch at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, the only justifiable place for my hubs to drink this frozen daiquiri (which happens to match his shirt) with whipped cream....

Saturday we did something that we don't do too much (and we should do it more), we went hiking. Hubs doesn't really "appreciate" hiking. I had to be the cheerleader and push him and our friend to finish the trek. Here is a pic of us early on....

And this is the final destination, about 4.6 miles, moderately difficult hike out and back on Peralta Trail to see Weavers Needle from a new perspective. I enjoyed the hike and am going to make an effort to hike more often. We had PERFECT weather, about 65 degrees, not too hot, not too cold and the trail wasn't super busy, which was nice.

Today I took a rest day and have wrapped up our holiday cards and a few other things around the house. Tomorrow we are back to working out AND I still need to shop for the holidays! I am a little behind, good thing I only need to shop for my parents and hubs!
